The Haven

The Haven provides comfortable accommodation for up to 5 adults. The accommodation is available all year round and has electric heating. There are roof solar panels and an electric vehicle charging point. There is a parking space outdoors for 2 cars. The property has broadband connection and there is a landline telephone. The accommodation comprises:

Conservatory Lounge (Garden Room) seating 6 people with views across to Porthcurno beach. Equipment includes

• Television
• CD Radio
• 3 seater settee, 2 seater settee, armchair

Outdoor Terrace equipped with

• dining table, 6 chairs and Parasol
• outdoor settee and chairs
• Automatic Solar power lights. The front light is switch operated from the Porch

Dining Room

• table and chairs for 6
• child dining chair booster seat
• baby/toddler highchair
• USB charging points are provided in the base of the side lamps
• Sideboard containing:
  • crockery and glassware suitable for outdoor dining (to avoid breakages!)
  • a hairdryer located in the left-hand drawer.

There are 3 bedrooms:

• Bedroom 1 - double bed en-suite with shower, toilet and hand basin
• Bedroom 2 - twin beds
• Bedroom 3 - single bed

There are extra blankets in the blanket chest in bedroom 2. "Seat cushions" are in the cupboard to the right of the fireplace in the dining room. These may be used by guests attending the Minack Theatre or for outside use on the terrace or in the garden.

There is an Iron, an Ironing Board and Clothes Driers. There is an outdoor rotary washing line.

Bathroom equipped with bath and shower, toilet, hand basin, and toddler step stool.

Such a lovely, homely place to stay for our run of a show at the Minack. Everything you could need. Relaxing and peaceful. Pity about the poor wifi!

The "Tractor Shed"

The "Tractor Shed" is a comfortable property! Its name serves as a reminder that the Convent at Posbury was also a working farm run by the Sisters of the Franciscan Servants of Jesus and Mary (FSJM). The "Tractor Shed" was converted as a residence for Sister Giovanna, the last surviving member of FSJM, who used to drive the tractor at Posbury!

The Tractor Shed offers comfortable accommodation for guests wishing to have a quiet/reading day in tranquil surroundings overlooking the fields of Posbury. The property has underfloor heating throughout served by an air source heat pump. There are solar panels and an electric vehicle charging point. There is sufficient space for a group or team meeting up to a maximum of 10 people. There is limited parking so guests are asked to share transport where possible. There is maximum space for two cars in front of the Tractor Shed and two on the grass verge opposite, so car sharing is encouraged wherever possible. Guests wishing to stay overnight may do so up to a maximum of two people sharing. Guests, both resident and non-resident, are asked to respect the presence of other properties and people on the Posbury Estate especially in relation to parking and levels of noise.

The property is let on a self-catering basis. Towels and tea towels are provided, and sheets are supplied for resident guests. Our housekeeping service prepares the Tractor Shed for the arrival of guests. Before departure it is expected that guests will wash and dry dishes, pots and pans and put them away leaving the property clean and tidy.

The accommodation comprises:

• Entrance hall with toilet and wash hand basin and 'service' cupboard.
• Open-Plan Sitting Room with views across fields. There is comfortable seating for two guests and table and chairs for a meeting of up to 10 people.
• The sitting room contains the archive of the Franciscan Servants of Jesus and Mary (FSJM) who occupied St Francis House and the Posbury estate from 1942 to 2021.
• Kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and kettle. There is sufficient crockery and cutlery for 10 people, cooking utensils and a small (2 person) and large (8 person) Cafetiere.
• Twin bedroom to sleep two people in single beds; en-suite bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and toilet. There is a Hair Dryer in the top drawer of the Tallboy. USB charging points are provided in the base of table lamp.
• To the rear of the property is a small garden with a bench and views across fields.
