Supporting mission, evangelism and spirituality

Welcome to the Posbury St Francis Trust

The Posbury St Francis Trust (PSFT) is an Anglican (Church of England) Trust formed from the proceeds of the sale of property at Posbury, near Crediton in Devon. The property was occupied by an Anglican Religious community known as The Franciscan Servants of Jesus and Mary (FSJM). The community devoted itself to a life of prayer and service. It welcomed visitors for retreats and quiet days and was active in the areas of mission, evangelism, and spirituality. Members of FSJM were active in and around the county of Devon and through several ‘extern’ (oblate) members was represented and active further afield.

The area of benefit is the County of Devon co-terminus with the Diocese of Exeter. This applies to members of the public living or working in the area and those engaged in projects which benefit those living in Devon.
